Belle and Jerome in Beeston, Nottinghamshire
If you loved Belle and Jerome in West Bridgford, then you have to make a trip to its sister in Beeston. Opening in 2009, just a year after its sibling, Belle and Jerome Beeston made an equally impressive entrance onto Nottingham’s restaurant scene thanks to its European-inspired café culture. Situated on High Road, close to the University of Nottingham, Belle and Jerome provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern city living.
Belle and Jerome is anything but your typical café. Whilst it is open for breakfast right the way through to dinner, there are a number of things that set this venue apart from its competitors. During the day it is a lively café serving probably the best Fairtrade coffee in town alongside indulgent breakfasts and irresistible lunches. In the evening the mood changes and the ambience simmers down to transform the establishment into a suave wine bar and restaurant complete with table service to avoid that inevitable Saturday night crush at the bar. With chic décor and luxurious upholstered furnishings, it is a real pleasure to spend time in Belle and Jerome, whatever your reason.
Belle and Jerome has become one of the most well-known names across Nottingham and it’s incredibly easy to see why; the attention paid to every last detail has made a real impression on residents and visitors to the area alike. The wine is not secondary to the food and the you will find that the same amount of care and attention has been put into compiling the wine list as the menu which in turn has been designed and priced to compliment the drinks available. You can expect to tuck into delicious morsels such as the mouth-wateringly tender 28-day aged English rump steak served with sautéed potatoes, homemade onion rings and a tomato, mushroom and spinach sauce; Moroccan lamb chops served on a bed of cous cous with caramelised apricots and Tzatziki; and the rich venison sausage and pancetta set on sweet potato puree with red onion and rosemary gravy. A fantastic selection of sharing platters are also available the make the perfect snack for a catch-up with friends or to enjoy whilst watching the live bands that frequent the venue every Wednesday night.
If you are looking for relaxation and refinement then look no further than Belle and Jerome in Beeston. The ambience, attention to detail, menus and staff all combine to create a fantastic atmosphere that has proved much-loved with the discerning diners of Nottingham, and with good reason too!

went on a Tuesday night for food and also to enjoy the jazz evening which they put on regularly. Had a great time and it didn't affect the wallet too badly. Would recommend.

Puddings were nice! Beef medallions very good. Scampi just mass produced frozen; not very good, could do better just cooking my own frozen from Sainsburys! They were very busy which made for a nice buzzing atmosphere but service was very slow. White wine wasn't chilled enough. Would go back to give it another chance.

Had a lovely meal at Belle and Jerome's. Greeted with friendly staff who were very attentive throughout our meal. Meal was delicious. Only reason i didn't give them a 10 was there was a wait for the food but other than that it was an excellent evening.
