The Courtyard is open on Friday and Saturday evenings only as the more informal, yet equally popular, Normanton Bar and Grill serves the mid-week clientele. You can expect to find dishes such as slow roasted belly pork served with a bubble and squeak cake and a sage and pea puree, pan-fried duck breast with potato rosti,  braised red cabbage and chiffonade vegetables, and pan-seared chicken breast with a sun-blushed tomato mousse and smoked bacon risotto. The presentation is immaculate and the flavours are clean and fresh.
