French Living Restaurant in Nottingham City Centre

If Paris seems too far away, diners who are keen to enjoy what France has to offer can be satiated by stepping in to French Living. Located in the heart of Nottingham City Centre, on King Street near Gatecrasher and just up from the Brian Clough Statue that stands just off Market Square, is this superb shop-cum-café-cum-restaurant.

The restaurant is a little capsule, filled to the brim with the very things that make dining in France a delight. They serve classic French cuisine in a beautiful two-level restaurant that has a red-bricked-cellar, as well as acting as a wine and cheese shop, café and boulangerie.

The French are renowned for their passion for mealtimes and pay extra ordinary attention to the selection, preparation and enjoyment of the highest quality cuisine and wines. As French Living unapologetically refuse to adapt any English-isms, this is what you can expect to find when you dine here. They bring this French passion to Nottingham by the bowlful and ensure that each meal, no matter how simple, is prepared, cooked and served exquisitely.

On the menu you can expect to find French classics such as the Cassoulet Toulousain, a rich bake of white beans, duck confit, Toulouse sausage, smoked belly pork and pork shoulder confit with mixed leaves and the Filet de Colin au Vin rouge, a fillet of hake oven-bakes and served with a red wine, butter and stock sauce with rice and vegetables.

If you’re looking for a little corner of France in Nottingham, you’ll find it at French Living.
